Curtis “Bum” Bumgarner is a native of Goshen Hill, South Carolina. Nestled in the Sumter National Forest, “Bum” was raised in what a lot of folks believe to be some of the best eastern wild turkey hunting in the nation. Bum takes full advantage of this each spring, videoing hunt after hunt for Lynch Outdoors and the video series he produces, Outdoors Our Way, which showcases local hunters in communities around the nation.
Bum’s wife, Kate, shares his love for the outdoor sports and has been a staunch supporter and partner of his for over twenty-five years. A talented musician, Bum writes and performs his own music.
All types of hunting and fishing keep Bum busy. From shrimping in the Saint Helena Sound off the coast of South Carolina to ducks in the flooded timber of Arkansas, Bum stands ready with camera in hand to capture yet another adventure afield.
Bum is ever mindful of the privilege it is to spend the time he does witnessing firsthand the bounty of God’s Blessing and enjoying them with his family and friends.
